5. Christian Denomination Information
RoomInFaith allows users to select a Christian denomination as part of their listing or search preferences. This information is used solely to help users find accommodation opportunities that align with their faith preferences and is displayed only where relevant within the platform.
6. Messaging Between Users
RoomInFaith provides a messaging system that enables communication between landlords and lodgers.
Messages are stored securely to:
- Deliver conversations between users
- Maintain conversation history
- Investigate reports of abuse, fraud, or misuse of the platform
- Comply with legal obligations where required
RoomInFaith does not routinely monitor private messages but may review communications where reasonably necessary to investigate security concerns, policy violations, or legal requirements.
7. Subscription Payments
Landlord memberships are processed through Stripe.
RoomInFaith does not collect or store:
- Full payment card numbers
- Security codes (CVV/CVC)
- Bank account details
Payment information is processed directly by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.

8. Subscription Cancellation
If a landlord cancels their membership subscription:
- The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- Published listings remain active until membership expiry.
- No further subscription payments will be taken.
- Once membership expires, listings are automatically removed from public view.
- The user's account remains active and can be reactivated by subscribing again.
9. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate RoomInFaith, including:
Stripe
For subscription billing and payment processing.
Supabase
For secure hosting, authentication, database management, file storage, and messaging functionality.
Legal Authorities
Where required by law, court order, or regulatory obligation.
